O'Mahony on way back for Offaly?

John O’Mahony could be set for a dramatic return to inter-county management as Offaly football boss.

O’Mahony reportedly met with Faithful officials last week and it's believed the former Galway manager is interested in the position.

The Offaly players are believed to be interested in seeing Gerry Fahy stay on as manager, having ironed out their differences with the county board following their recent strike action.

O’Mahony has also been nominated to take over the Mayo ladies football team.
