Mount Sion to nominate Decies' captain

County champions Mount Sion will again nominate a player to the captaincy of the Waterford senior hurling team following their title win last Sunday.

Eoin Kelly and Eoin McGrath are likely to be nominated, with 2003 All-Star Kelly favourite to lead the Decies next year.

McGrath is suspended for Saturday week’s first round Munster club championship clash against Limerick champions Ahane at Walsh Park as he carries a one-match ban from last year's provincial campaign.

McGrath, brother of inter-county star Ken, was sent off during Mount Sion's Munster tie against Patrickswell in Limerick last year.
