The Sligo footballers fly out to New York today ahead of Sunday's FBD League away final against New York in Gaelic Park.

The US trip is a reward for Sligo’s victory over Mayo in the FBD League home final last March.

Paul Durcan and star midfielder Eamonn O'Hara are in temporary charge of the Yeats County for this weekend's clash in the Big Apple. Both stated that they are not interested in the position in the long-term.

Sligo were left without a manager after James Kearins stepped down last month. Former Offaly boss Gerry Fahy has been linked with the job.
