Cummins wins Poc Fada

Goalkeeper Brendan Cummins became the first Tipperary man to win the All-Ireland Poc Fada title today, in a new course record over the 5km Cooley Mountain course.

The dual star came home first with a 48 poc tally.

Limerick keeper Albert Shanahan was second with 54, while Clare's Davy Fitzgerald came in third with 55 pocs.

Cummins and Shanahan also won the pairs title.
