Moynihan omitted from Kerry line-up

Kerry boss Jack O'Connor has announced his side to face the Dubs in the All-Ireland football quarter-final at Croke Park on Saturday, and there is no place for talisman Seamus Moynihan.

The Glenflesk man has still not recovered from an ankle injury he sustained during the Munster semi-final win over Cork and has not even been named among the substitutes.

The Kingdom have made two changes from the side that defeated Limerick in the Munster final replay in Killarney.

Ballylongford clubman Paddy Kelly will make his senior championship début against the Dubs. The U21 star was hugely impressive in the Kingdom's recent U21 Munster football final trouncing of Waterford and has been chosen to partner Dara Ó Sé at midfield.

Liam Hassett is the player who makes way.

Another U21 star, Declan O'Sullivan, has recovered from a collar-bone injury and has been selected to lead the attack, so Dara Ó Cinnéide goes to full-forward, flanked by Colm Cooper and Mike Frank Russell. Johnny Crowley drops to the bench.

Eoin Brosnan moves from midfield to right half-forward, and O'Sullivan is at centre-forward, with Paul Galvin on the left wing.

KERRY (SF v Dublin): D Murphy; T O'Sullivan, M McCarthy, A O'Mahony; T Ó Sé, E Fitzmaurice, M Ó Sé; D Ó Sé, P Kelly; E Brosnan, D O’Sullivan, P Galvin; C Cooper, D Ó Cinnéide, MF Russell.
