Derry in command at half-time
Derry 1-10 Wexford 0-2
An early goal from Enda Muldoon has set up Derry for what looks like an easy victory over Wexford at Parnell Park in their Bank of Ireland SFC third round qualifier.
Muldoon crept a close range shot under Wexford goalkeeper John Cooper to set up a 1-10 to 0-2 half time lead.
Paddy Bradley has excelled for the Oak Leaf county, hitting six points, including two late frees, to Muldoon's 1-2.
Wexford had two goal chances, with their first point coming on 18 minutes after Redmond Barry's goal attempt rebounded off the post for John Hudson to punch over.
Mattie Forde has endured a quiet game, scoring an 18th minute point and pulling down his marker Niall McCusker to earn a yellow card on 35 minutes.
