McAnallen gets posthumous award at Queens
The late Tyrone GAA football star Cormac McAnallen has been given a posthumous award from Queens University, Belfast, in honour of his achievements.
Cormac McAnallan, aged 24, died from a rare viral infection of the heart in March.
During the ceremony McAnallen, who was made captain of the Tyrone team last year, was described as a "unique personality".
Outgoing student president of Queen's, Johnny Hill, said he was a scholar and an excellent sportsman, but also a totally unassuming personality.
