Fitzhenry keeps Wexford in Leinster final
Offaly 0-8 Wexford 1-4
Wexford have Damien Fitzhenry to thank for keeping them in the hunt against Offaly in the Leinster Senior Hurling Final at Croke Park today.
Fitzhenry saved four great goal chances, including a penalty from Damian Murray, as Offaly dominated the first half.
Offaly will be wondering why they aren't further ahead, however, as they scored eight points and should have been more than one point ahead.
Wexford were also kept in the game through Michael Jacob. Jacob scored a goal on 17 minutes, pouncing on the rebound from brother Rory's shot on goal.
