Setanta continues to impress fans Down Under

While his former Cork team-mates were booking their place in the Munster hurling final, Setanta O hAilpín was continuing to press his claims for a place in the Carlton Blues AFL team at the weekend.

Lining out for the club’s second string, Northern Bullants, Setanta was the star of the show in a challenge game at the weekend, against Coburg.

Setanta, who has been nicknamed Carlos by his Aussie team-mates, kicked four goals and won rave reviews as the Bullants romped to an easy win.

“Carlos showed great attacking skill and a lot of poise playing across half back,” claims a match report, posted on the club’s website.
