The Gaelic Players Association this afternoon revealed their new €400,000 TV advert that is set to hit the screens this summer.

The ad, in association with sponsors Club Energise, features eight top GAA stars including Tyrone's Eoin Mulligan and Kilkenny's Henry Shefflin.

The advert was shot around six weeks ago and took two days of filming in both the Wicklow mountains and Dublin.

GPA Chief Executive Dessie Farrell said: "It's great that the GPA is in a position to bring Gaelic games to this level.

"It's very important that the corporate sector are on board to help us market our players and this is a big example of how it can be done right."

The advert lasts 40 seconds and will feature heavily around RTÉ's Breaking Ball GAA magazine programme on Friday evenings.
