Gaelic Players Association chief Dessie Farrell has poured cold water on the idea of introducing a penalty points scheme to catch consistent foulers.

GAA President Sean Kelly suggested the idea after a weekend in which a number of players saw red for two yellow cards but players who pick up yellow each week get away.
