Cats star Carey looking forward to sweet 16

Kilkenny star DJ Carey is looking forward to his 16th year of championship hurling with the bonus of an injury free pre season.

The All-Ireland winning skipper, 33, expects to play the whole of the upcoming NHL campaign and is setting his sights on a three in a row of All-Ireland titles.

Carey confirmed: "I can't wait to get back and I hope to be able to play a full part in the league. I want to be part of the Kilkenny effort for the All-Ireland three-in-a-row."
