Ginnity returned as Royal County chairman
Controversial Meath county board chairman Fintan Ginnity has been returned for an 18th consecutive year in the position.
Ginnity, who was a key figure in the bust up in Nenagh that led to the suspensions of Junior bosses Martin Barry and Dessie Rogers this year, won through by 124 to 32 votes.
"I'm shocked and astounded, I thank everybody for their suppor. I'm dumbfounded," gushed Ginnity.
