Five provincial finals on AIB club menu

The AIB club championships hot up next Sunday as five provincial finals are due to be played in four provinces.

Seven of the ten competing teams will be chasing provincial titles for the first time.

Birr and Patrickswell (hurling) and St.Gall's (football) have all won provincial crowns before but Caltra, Curry, An Ghaeltacht, St Senan's, The Loup (football) and Newtownshandrum and O'Loughlin Gaels (hurling) will all be bidding for their first honours.

Next Sunday's fixtures are as follows:

Football

AIB Connacht SF final: Caltra (Galway) v Curry (Sligo), Pearse Stadium, 2.0 (Live on TG4).

AIB Munster SF final: An Ghaeltacht (Kerry) v St.Senan’s (Clare), Gaelic Grounds, 2.30pm.

AIB Ulster SF final: St.Gall's (Antrim) v The Loup (Derry), Clones, 2.30pm.

Hurling

AIB Munster SH final: Newtownshandrum (Cork) v Patrickswell (Limerick), Thurles, 2pm.

AIB Leinster SH final: Birr (Offaly) v O'Loughlin Gaels (Kilkenny), Portlaoise, 2pm.
