Hogan favourite to take over Tipp post

Former Tipperary Allstar goalie and selector Ken Hogan has been installed as favourite to take over the Tipperary hurling manager's job.

Former Tipperary Allstar goalie and selector Ken Hogan has been installed as favourite to take over the Tipperary hurling position vacated by manager Michael Doyle following a hail of controversy earlier this month.

Hogan, who was a selector alongside Nicky English and Jack Bergin when Tipp landed the Liam McCarthy Cup in 2001, was over-looked last year when it came to finding a successor as manager to English.
