Former AllStar Ciaran Carey has admitted that "itchy feet" forced him into a rethink and ultimately back onto the Limerick hurling panel ahead of tomorrow night's back door tussle with Offaly.

Carey withdrew from the squad after being overlooked in the game against Kerry but admitted: "I had itchy feet in the last few days - there's no point saying otherwise."

Elsewhere, John Meskell, Clem Smith and James Moran have all been returned to the lineup at the expense of Paudie O'Dwyer, Eoin Foley and Ollie Moran.
