Rowley hints at another term with Leitrim

Leitrim football boss Declan Rowley has hinted that he may stay on for another term in charge of the Connacht minnows despite spirit sapping defeats to Galway and Roscommon.

Leitrim were cruelly denied a place in the next round of the qualifiers by a late, late Roscommon goal in Carrick-on-Shannon last time out.

Rowley admitted: "I feel that we have put in too much work to walk away from it now. If I walked away I feel the team would be back to square one."
