Wexford back to winning ways against Limerick
Wexford 1-14 Limerick 0-8
Wexford got back to winning ways with a nine-point drubbing of Limerick in a dismal match on a glorious day in Wexford Park.
Wexford led 0-5 to 0-2 at the break, with Limerick failing to register a score in 29 minutes and recording 12 first half wides.
A saved Wexford penalty got the second half underway and despite an early rally by Limerick Wexford picked off the points before Chris McGrath goaled in the 25th minute to put further distance between the sides.
Conor Fitzgerald pulled two points back for Limerick but a flurry of scores from Rory Jacob, Mitch Jordan, Barry Goff and Paul Codd ensured Wexford the win they were never in danger of losing.
