Cork maintain unbeaten run

This was an exercise in futility at Pairc Ui Chaoimh as far as Cork were concerned as they romped to an emphatic 29-point victory over hapless Derry.

With Cork playing with the wind in the first half, the game was as good as over at half-time as they led 2-14 to 0-3.

Goals from Ben O'Connor and Alan Browne put the Rebels in the driving seat but wing forward Eoin Fitzgerald was the star of the show, ending the game with a tally of 2-8.

Cork's other second-half goals came from Setanta O'hAilpin and Alan Browne.
