Moynihan installed at centre-back
Seamus Moynihan has been moved out to centre-back for Saturday night's NFL clash with Cork in a move that could become permanent.
Moynihan is seen as a player who could contribute much more outfield and with Barry O'Shea returning to form he will fancy his chances of holding onto the full-back berth.
Normal centre-back Eamon Fitzmaurice is out with a groin strain while Mike Frank Russell is awaiting an operation on his groin.
There's still no sign of a return to action for Maurice Fitzgerald though Aodán MacGearailt starts for the injured Liam Hassett and Declan Quill comes in for Russell.
Kerry (SF v Cork): D O'Keeffe; T Sullivan, B O'Shea, M McCarthy; T O Se, S Moynihan, J Sheahan; D O Se, D Daly; S Sullivan, Brosnan, A MacGearailt; D Quill, D O Cinneide, C Cooper.
