Galway win U21 football title

Galway are the deserved 2002 All-Ireland U21 football champions following a convincing performance over Dublin at O'Moore Park, Portlaoise.

The Tribesmen led by 0-08 to 0-01 at the break - Alan Brogan scoring the Dubs' solitary point.

The Dubs came back in the opening 10 minutes of the second-half but Galway rallied and ran out deserved winners.
