Dubs lead by one at interval
Dublin 0-09, Kildare 1-05 (half-time)
Dublin remain on course for their first Leinster crown in seven years as they lead Kildare by a point at half-time at Croke Park.
Kildare were struggling as the Dubs went into a three point to no score lead before John Doyle pointed and grabbed a free for the Lily Whites.
Doyle added two further points before Tadhg Finnan grabbed a crucial goal to get Kildare back into the game in the 27th minute.
However, Dublin responded well and added a point to level matters before Paddy Christie scored to give his side the lead heading in at the turn of ends.
