Mucky conditions weigh down Cork-Kerry clash
Cork 0-8 Kerry 0-8
Cork and Kerry will need a replay to decide who will meet Tipperary in the Munster Senior Football final after the two arch-rivals finished all-square in Killarney this afternoon.
It was a disappointing display from both sides as the wind and the rain dulled what is traditionally a fast-flowing clash.
As in the other games to take place so far today, both defences were on top form for the majority of the match and kept scores to a minimum.
Cork took the lead first through their captain, Colin Corkery, and threatened to pull away from the winners of last year's Munster Championship.
Kerry did not even register a score until nearly the 20-minute mark and were trailing Cork for most of the game.
The second half was littered with mistakes, fouls and wides as the mucky conditions prevented the fast-paced football that both sides normally play.
The final score in the match was Cork 0-08 Kerry 0-08 and the two must now meet again to see who will play Tipperary in the Munster final.
