NHL: Div 2 round-up

There were two semi-finals in Division Two of the Allianz National Hurling League this afternoon, as well as a relegation play-off.

In the semi-finals, Down played Wicklow in Trim and Kerry took on Kildare at Kilmallock.

In the first game, Down were just about worthy of their favourites tag as they outscored Wicklow to win by 1-17 to 3-07.

In the second semi-final Kerry proved too strong for Kildare as they won out by 3-15 to 2-12.

In the relegation play-off for Division Two, Carlow needed extra time to separate themselves from Roscommon before finally winning the match in Mullingar by 2-24 to 2-16.
