GAA: Dublin record winning start

Dublin gave new manager Tommy Lyons a winning start to the NFL in their Division 1A tie against Donegal, with a scoreline of 2-10 to 0-14.

In an entertaining fixture, the Cosmpolitans had two second-half goals from Alan Brogan and Jonathan Magee to thank for their two-point winning margin.

The unluckiest man on the field was undoubtedly Brendan Devenney who finished on the losing side despite amassing a personal tally of nine points as he tormented Coman Goggins all afternoon.
