GAA: Tipperary star Declan Ryan retires

Tipperary hurler Declan Ryan has announced his retirement from inter-county action.

The Clonoulty-Rossmore man has won All-Ireland medals in three decades with Tipperary, in 1989, 1991 and 2001.

He is regarded as one of the best hurlers ever to wear the blue and gold of the Premier County.
