Ben O’Connor has named an unchanged side for Sunday’s Munster SHC showdown with old rivals Limerick at SuperValu Páirc Ui Chaoimh.

The Rebels started their championship campaign with a four-point win over All-Ireland champions Tipperary in Semple Stadium last weekend.

And the same XV will look to make it two from two against John Kiely’s Treaty side in front of a sold-out crowd on Leeside this time out.

The in-form Ciaran Joyce is named at No 3; Mark Coleman will complement the Downey brothers, Eoin and Robert in the half-back line while Tim O’Mahony and Tommy O’Connell make up the midfield partnership.

Captain Darragh Fitzgibbon — alongside Shane Barrett and Killeagh starlet Barry Walsh — will look to run at Limerick from wing forward.

Barrs men William Buckley and Brian Hayes, as well as Alan Connolly of Blackrock, make up a potent full forward line.

There are no changes to the bench.

Aaron Gillane may be set to miss the much-anticipated game, meanwhile.

Treaty management have confirmed the Patrickswell forward sustained a calf injury in training during the week, the Limerick Leader report.

Cork haven't lost in league or championship at home since the game with Clare in April 2024. Limerick overpowered Cork in the league final on Easter Sunday but sat out last weekend's opening round of provincial games.
