Kerry and Meath have begun their fight for a place in the All-Ireland football final against Galway in three weeks.

All-Ireland champions Kerry start as favourites to win the tie, although most feel the match is too difficult to call.

Meath, like Kerry, took two attempts to book their semi-final place. They beat near neighbours Westmeath in their quarter final replay. Meanwhile, Kerry beat old enemies Dublin in a replay at Semple Stadium.

More than 65,000 people are expected through the gates of Croke Park to witness the clash.

Mike Hassett replaces the suspended Tomas O’Se, while Eoin Brosnan moves to centre-forward for Kerry.

Meath begin the match with the same side that defeated Westmeath in the quarter final replay.
