Hurling: Two changes for Derry
Ulster Champions Derry have named their team to face Galway in Sunday's All-Ireland Hurling Quarter-Final.
The Oak Leaf County are smarting from comments attributed to a Wexford official that they would much rather face Limerick in the last eight than Derry.
The official was quoted as saying: "There's no point in going to play Derry in a high scoring match and coming away thinking that you're great. The Galway-Derry game is a waste of time. We played Derry in the league and they were very poor, to put it politely".
As a result, the side who edged out Down by 1-17 to 3-10 in the Ulster decider feel they have a point to prove.
The side shows two changes from their last outing - corner-back Ryan Lynch and wing-forward Gary Biggs make way for Padraig Kelly and the fit-again Seamus Downey.
DERRY - Kieran Stephenson; Emmet McKeever, Conor Murray, Padraig Kelly; Michael Conway, Colin McIldowney, Benny Ward; Ronan McCluskey, Oliver Collins; Kieran McKeever, Seamus Downey, Gregory Biggs; Michael Collins, Geoffrey McGonigle, John O'Dwyer.
