Dublin football fans have been given a boost with the news that Sunday's

opponents Sligo have handed back 2,500 tickets to the GAA.

The allocation will now be dished out to the Dublin county board.

That means that at least 5,000 metropolitan fans will crowd the terrace on Sunday, while the other 5,000 supporters will be made up of Cork and Galway fans.
