GAA: Galway v Wicklow ground capacity extended

The GAA has announced that crowd capacity at Aughrim for Saturday's All-Ireland football qualifier between Galway and Wicklow has been extended.

Safety authorities have decided that the ground can now hold 6,500, instead of the 5,000 originally envisaged.

Meanwhile, Derry manager Eamon Coleman has been given a three-match sideline ban after an unauthorised pitch incursion during the Ulster semi-final defeat to Tyrone.

In contrast, Meath's Paddy Reynolds has been granted a personal hearing by the GAC after being sent off last Sunday against Kildare.
