GAA: O'Brien wants Semple stadium used for finals

The secretary of the Co Tipperary GAA board Michael O'Brien, has said that Tipperary should not enter into anymore home and away agreements for Munster Senior hurling finals.

The secretary of the Co Tipperary GAA board Michael O'Brien, has said that Tipperary should not enter into anymore home and away agreements for Munster Senior hurling finals.

Speaking at a meeting, of the county GAA board in Thurles, Mr O'Brien said that Tipperary should be pushing to have all Munster finals in Semple stadium, Thurles, the venue with the greatest capacity, "it makes sense to have the games here," he said.
