GAA: Tipp's Leahy sets 2002 as comeback date

Tipperary hurling star John Leahy has set the Munster Championship of 2002 as his comeback date from a horror knee injury sustained against Clare in the Munster semi-final.

Speaking for the first time since having career-saving cruciate and medial knee ligament surgery in Waterford, the ace midfielder said he knew his fate when he crashed to the ground following the clash with Clare full-back Brian Lohan.
