The Gaelic Grounds in Limerick has been set as the surprise venue for next Sunday's Allianz National League final between Tipperary and Clare.

Pairc Ui Chaoimh had been expected to hold the game, which will be closely watched ahead of the championship meeting between the two sides on June 3.

Throw-in is set for 3.30pm, with Pat O'Connor from Ahane in Limerick as referee.

Meanwhile, Tullamore is to host the second round Leinster Hurling Championship game between Kildare and Meath, also on Sunday.
