Kenmare ‘have a hungry group of players’

O’Sullivan said: “we take it game by game but following our success at junior level we know how to win Munster titles. We have a young hungry group of players who want to improve and we were pleased with a lot of aspects of our play today. We had to watch our neighbours Templenoe win an All-Ireland title last year and their victory has given us plenty of motivation to match that achievement”.
And on this performance, Kenmare will fancy their chances. They scored points from every angle and distance and crafted two beautiful first-half goals. A pitch-long move involving ten players, finished beautifully by Paul O’Connor, was the most spectacular. A bad day got worse for Fethard when Gavin Fitzgerald deflected the ball past his own goalkeeper to gift the Kerry side another goal. A free from Brian Healy the only score Fethard could muster in a half to forget.
