Cork GAA plan mirrors a previous submission, says Ger Lane

Kevin O’Donovan’s blueprint is largely similar to a document recently formulated by the sub-committee which the coaching officer resigned from on Tuesday evening, county board chairman Ger Lane has claimed.

The Games focus group is one of a number of sub- committees feeding into the Cork GAA strategic review steering group and their recent submission to the latter is expected to be debated by the board in either September or October.

When circulating his own document to club delegates on Tuesday night, O’Donovan also announced his resignation from the Cork strategic review steering group.
