Paul Murphy recalls Leinster lesson from Galway

The Leinster final of 2012 means Paul Murphy, probably forever more, will be wary of facing Galway at this juncture of the championship.

As it is often said, winners remember the losses most and that one, a humbling 10-point reverse, has a habit of haunting the Kilkenny corner-back.

“It was one of the biggest defeats, probably the biggest defeat I’ve had, playing for Kilkenny. It was quite obvious from early on in that match that they were completely up for it and that we weren’t at the level they were at that day.
