There was a feeling after that game if Waterford had Pauric Mahony on the field they’d have won, such was their inaccuracy from frees.

Yesterday, it was Clare whose radar malfunctioned. Waterford-Clare Mark III saw the Deise run out reasonably comfortable winners in this Munster SHC semi, 1-21 to 0-17, and the victors certainly looked like they’d learned more from the two previous meetings about shot selection if nothing else.
