Micheál Donoghue hopeful injured trio will return for Galway's relegation play-off

Corner-back pair Johnny Coen and Pádraic Mannion, along with centre-forward Cyril Donnellan, will be in contention for selection for the clash on Sunday week after overcoming injury problems which have limited their involvement this spring.
Donnellan has not seen a single minute of game time across Galway’s five league games to date while Coen has not featured since the opening day win over Cork on February 14.
Mannion, meanwhile, picked up a knock during the first half of the defeat to Kilkenny which subsequently ruled him out of the Tipperary and Waterford games.
The Tribesmen are already buoyed by having won home advantage for the relegation tie and manager Donoghue is hopeful his charges will draw further encouragement from the return of three key figures.
“We have a good few injuries and hopefully, lads coming back will make the group stronger,” said Donoghue.
The All Star pair of Colm Callanan (hip) and Daithi Burke (broken thumb) are not expected to figure.
“We will be doing everything in our powers to get Daithi back, but he probably won’t make it.
“With injuries, you just don’t get a consistent run of trying to get a settled team.
“It is unfortunate where we find ourselves, it is not ideal, but we are going to train really hard and try and get a result against Cork.”
Meanwhile, Kerry county football champions South Kerry have appointed William Harmon as their manager for 2016.
Harmon, a selector last year, fills the void left by John Sugrue.
Willie Power and Humphrey Shanahan will serve as selectors alongside Harmon.
