Jackie Tyrrell makes return for Cats

Jackie Tyrrell makes his first since last year’s Leinster final as one of five changes to the Kilkenny side for tomorrow’s Allianz HL Division 1A clash with Galway at Nowlan Park tomorrow (2pm).

Paul Murphy drops to the bench to facilitate Tyrrell’s return, while Richie Reid is named in goal in place of the injured Eoin Murphy, whose brother Alan will act as deputy netminder. In the half-back line, Kieran Joyce and Cillian Buckley come in for Robert Lennon and Diarmuid Cody while Richie Hogan replaces John Power in attack.

Tipperary welcome Séamus Callanan back at full-forward for his first appearance of the year while Barry Heffernan (Nenagh Éire Óg) makes his league debut at right half-back and Ronan Maher is selecte at centre-back. James Barry, Daire Quinn and Conor Kenny are the players to make way.
