Paddy Brophy on blocks for Grand final sprint

Former Kildare footballer Paddy Brophy will have a role to play in the AFL Grand Final, even if it is not in a playing capacity.

Brophy is coming to the end of his first season in Australia, having signed a two-year contract with West Coast Eagles.

The Eagles have enjoyed a spectacular season and will challenge three-in-a-row chasers Hawthorn in the season’s climax at the MCG tomorrow morning Irish time.
