Cloughduv use class and experience to master Clonakilty

Cloughduv use class and experience to master Clonakilty

There is no substitute for experience at this level and the Mid-Cork side had it abundance. While Clonakilty tried their hardest, they lacked the stickwork and scoring power of their opponents.

Clon proved more than a match for their opponents in the opening half. Excellent defending by Patrick O’Sullivan and James O’Brien kept the scoreline down and the sides were level at 0-5 apiece after 20 minutes. The highlights of that period were the two excellent points scored by Clon goalkeeper Mark White.
