Seamus Hickey to lead Cork challenge

Rockchapel’s Seamus Hickey gets the start at full-forward for Paul McCarthy’s side, announced last night, ahead of Mayfield’s Paul Condon.
Bandon’s Mark Sugrue, fresh from a strong performance for his club’s hurlers in the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship on Saturday against Kilworth forms part of a lively half-forward line, with Aghabullogue’s John Corkery on the other wing.
Darren Murphy, who missed Ballincollig’s run to Cork SFC glory last year with a knee injury, starts at full-back for Cork.
Kerry are without centre back Denis Daly, the hamstrung Liam Carey and Killian Spillane, but can still call on Kerry senior panellists like Jack McGuire, David Culhane, Philip O’Connor and Thomas Hickey.
