Fixture proposals unworkable, says Clare GAA chairman Michael McDonagh

Clare chairman Michael McDonagh has slammed the GAA’s proposals to condense club fixtures into a calendar year.

The proposal would see the All-Ireland club finals played in December — and not in their traditional St Patrick’s Day slot.

But McDonagh feels the proposals coming from Croke Park are unworkable and will cause chaos at grassroots level.
