Clare legend Anthony Daly believes the Hurling 2020 Review Committee should have included a sin bin system in their list of proposals published earlier this month.

The high powered group headed by former Tipperary All-Ireland winning manager Liam Sheedy opted to introduce a system whereby a player who receives a second yellow card be replaced by a substitute.

That plan has received a lukewarm response in some quarters and Daly, the newly appointed Director of Underage Hurling in Limerick, thinks the GAA could have taken a leaf out of rugby’s book.
