The indications were the 60-year-old would continue in the position and he is set to be again assisted by Mick Dempsey, James McGarry and Derek Lyng.

The James Stephens man will be aiming for an 11th All-Ireland title although it remains to be seen whether he will again be joined by Henry Shefflin, who has featured for the Cats since he was first appointed for the 1999 season.
