Lar Corbett has praised Pa Bourke for the way he bounced back from his Tipperary axing, captaining newly-crowned champions Thurles Sarsfields to glory in last Sunday’s county SHC final.

Bourke, a 2012 All Star nominee, was dropped by Tipp manager Eamon O’Shea for the 2014 campaign, but returned to club duty on Sunday’s for his club’s eight-point victory over Loughmore-Castleiney.

And close friend Corbett said: “We’re delighted to win — it was 50-50 coming into the final.
