Cuthbert: Dual stars in line for selection

Cork dual players Eoin Cadogan, Aidan Walsh and Damien Cahalane will be considered for selection ahead of the county’s Munster SFC tie against Tipperary, but manager Brian Cuthbert conceded "this game might come too soon for them".

Cuthbert admitted the hurlers' drawn fixture against Waterford hugely upset football preparations as it prevented the trio from lining out in two challenge games. The manager says the dual players realise “they cannot just come back into the set-up and expect to slot into the team.

“The drawn hurling fixture has been a set-back in terms of our planning,” he said.
