Clare hurlers will have Collins for Tipp clash

Davy Fitzgerald will have All Star Pádraic ‘Podge’ Collins for Sunday’s crucial Allianz Hurling League Division 1A clash with Tipperary in Thurles.

The Banner’s football boss Colm Collins, the player’s father, confirmed the 2013 All-Ireland medallist will link up with the hurlers for the Semple Stadium double-header.

The footballers, top of Division 4, also play Tipperary before the counties meet in an eagerly-awaited hurling showdown.
