O’Neill says victims must help prove foul play allegations

Ahead of this evening’s Leinster Council meeting where Dublin and DCU will be asked to explain one such incident in Sunday’s O’Byrne Cup game, O’Neill urged players who believe they have been victims to come forward.

Last April, O’Neill spoke of his disappointment at the outcome of a case which followed claims Paddy McBrearty had been bitten by a Dublin player in a Division 1 game. The Donegal forward opted not to give evidence at a Central Hearings Committee meeting and the case collapsed. However, GAA director general Páraic Duffy subsequently stated it was a matter of record that McBrearty had been bitten.
